Science: Water Found to exist in new state
A new state of water in which it is found to be have six face has
been discovered by the scientists and observed inside crystals of Beryl,
a type of EMERALD.
The unique six ring structure may be due to "Quantum Tunnelling"say the scientists at OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORY(ORLN) at Tenesseeant RUTHERFORD APLETON LABORATORY, United Kingdom.. The normal structure of water was found to arranged around the oxygen in a 'V' shaped. The atoms of water are delocalized amiong the six possible directions inside hexagonal natural pores or channels that runs thruugh the crystal structures.
